By Katie Buehler (April 7, 2022, 4:49 p.m. EDT) — A Texas law firm on Thursday urged a Fifth Circuit panel to overturn a federal judge’s order in the Lone Star State certifying a class of plaintiffs in a lawsuit accusing the firm of sending misleading debt collection letters, arguing that there is no evidence that each class member suffered the same alleged harm.
